Can anyone recommend any online discount stores for stethescopes, uniforms, shoes, etc? If we aren't allowed to post it here, could you email me with the info. please. I am in desperate need of finding some deals on the items I need for school in the fall!

I used Allheart.com just recently for a stethoscope for clinicals in Sept. If you do a search on Google for "Allheart.com coupon codes", it will bring up links you can go through for discounts on certain items, like scrubs or free shipping, etc. I wished people just posted codes instead of links, but they work just as well.

i've used jasco for uniforms. never had a problem, but be aware that most uniforms run bigger than you expect - if you are between sizes, usually should go smaller.

if you want a cheap steth, any uniform company has them. if you want a better one, the "current" favorite in our hospital is an ultrascope. it is a glass head, individualized one - can hear better than with littmann cardiology (for most that have tried them). i haven't bought one yet, but will if my expensive one ever gives up the ghost. if you are interested...i found the following site to have them on sale http://www.rnsupply.com/ultrascope.html . usually they run $99, plus they can be engraved with your name. this site has them for $85 (if i remember correctly) - i recommended the site to my students when they were ready to buy their better steths after graduation.

Good point! LOL! I just hate clicking on sponsors and getting a bunch of pop ups, though I haven't tried it here yet! LOL! :chuckle
