I usually work 3-11. Each day I work I wake up with a list of things to do before I go to work. Yesterday I was really feeling good. Went down my list and completed all my task. That does not usually happen. When I was walking from the parking lot to the ER entrance I said to myself, "WOW lady, you really had your act together today". Just then I glanced down at my feet and realized my shoes did not match. :imbar

I know the feeling! I didn't find out until halfway through my shift! :imbar
I have also arrived at work and realize, as I was stepping out of the car, that I didn't have my clogs on. I keep them at the door from the garage to home (first thing I take off and last thing I put on).
I ran around all day one day with shoes that didn't match and didn't know it until I went to take them off. As I started to peel the the velcro from the second hightop, I realized that it wasn't a hightop! (Other than that, they matched -- they were both black shoes of the same brand) I laughed for days about that!
I also put my pants on backwards one morning. I caught that mistake when I got out of the car and attempted to put the key in my pocket! Forst stop after that was the restroom to rearrange myself.
Brain farts....
What disturbed me is that this was a day where I thought I was really together. A few years back I was working on my BSN, had a full time job and two kids in college, one of which was commuting. I was in grocery store and looked down at my shoes and saw one black shoe and one white. This was no suprised because I was under stress and I knew it.
