I took the NCLEX on Monday in GA. It shut off at 75. I had a ton of prioritizing questions. I am very worried about my results. I tried calling the 1-900 # today as directed by the test site, but they are not posted yet. I have to wait until tomorrow at 9am. I could scream :(

Let me know what you think/advise.

rileycat, i agree with your friends. you should relax and just do the best you can. i am not sure why there is a 91 day waiting period. i have to wait until tomorrow at 9am to get my results. i will let you know how i did.

i hope you have some diversional activity planned for tonight to keep you mind off the waiting. good luck to you!!!!!!!

Thank you cwood2b,

I am glad to know I am not the only one who took under an hour!

I was thinking the same thing after I left the building.... " I wonder if McDonalds has good benefits??" I still am very worried, but you did put me more at ease. Thank you!

Hey all. In Illinois, there is NO # to call. You have to just wait it out. I took boards in Jan, waited about 3 1/2 weeks before my results came. I could have died!! But the news was good. I wouldn't worry as much about the # of ??? you answer. I shut down at 75 in 54 min. It seems like most people are passing at 75. I actually heard last week, that one of my friend's classmates shut down at 74. Yep, 74. Now that would stink. I thought 75 was the minimum. Don't be nervous. I'm sure you did fine :)

I called this morning and got my results by phone...I PASSED! Although the results are unofficial, I am still very relieved. Thank you all for your support and kindness. Good luck to all of you who are waiting for results. :D :D :D :D :D

Congratulations! That's wonderful! If you're like me, you'll still tear up with joy & pride (& relief) when you receive your license in the mail. It's a great feeling of accomplishment.:D

Hey Rileycat :) I live in Lockport, about 5 minutes from Orland Park. I just got hired at Children's Memorial & start July 23. I will be working in OR. I've done LTC, adult day care, & dr. office in the past. I started out as an LPN, so the transition wasn't too terrible.. I actually went back to school so I could get into OR. I've wanted to work in surgery since I was a little kid, but got married & had a baby before I went to school. As for enjoying my career, I know that I will enjoy it alot more now that I will actually be working in the area that I have wanted for soooo long. The hardest thing for me was finding a place that would take a new grad into OR. I liked LTC, but with elderly grandparents, I was getting a bit burnt out. It felt like I was at work 24-7. But, I do love being a nurse & am really looking forward to OR. Good luck to you, Rileycat. :)

i'm still in the process of taking the nclex...my friend had already took it and it also stopped at 75...unfortunately, she failed the rn test...she then took the lpn test and passed in that...we were kidding around when we thought she might have done too many wrongs that even if they give her the whole test she wouldn't even pass them :D ...why is it that in most people the computer stop at 75?
