Medical Marijuana in treating seizures!

I am currently taking a nursing research course in my BSN program and I wanted to research about marijuana :smokin: in treating seizures, so any accounts of people trying this treatment?

Agreed, but searching for leads is part of the process. Nothing wrong in exploring all avenues. No need to get snippy with someone for asking for help.

Halim, I recently caught part of a documentary regarding this. Some grower in Colorado that couldn't sell one of its varieties due to low THC levels (people wanted to get stoned, and this plant didn't get them stoned). However, it was high in some other chemical that is thought to be the reason for decreased seizure activity in some patients.I know nothing of the "medicine" behind it, or the veracity of the claims. Try searching out growers in Colorado. Maybe that will help.

I'd also make sure your including sources outside of the US (The Lancet and others) since research on cannibidiol in the US has been pretty sporifice, although in Europe it's used for a variety of conditions as part of mainstream medicine.
