I know that facilities have insurance for us, but how much do they really cover? Is it wise to purchase insurance for myself? Where do I go for ?

Thanks! This is just something that I was thinking about today because I accepted my first job as an RN today! And ofcourse this thought came to mind.

I have listed two providers of for nurses below. The insurance offered by your workplace will not cover you if you fail to follow policies and procedures precisely. Some hospitals will blame the nurse as an attempt to "spread" the liability around so that the facility pays far less in punitive damages.
