I got Fired today....

or was it yesterday?

Oh well....

I missed this weekend and last weekend due to issues with Mom and moving her in to my home and such. Facility knew that and all that was going on, but yet, when the bank called today about my loan for my new truck, the man on the phone told me that he talked to them today and that I had been fired!

WEll, well, well.......

Guess that's ok since they had cut my pay 2x, and cut my hours, and as of this pay, also our insurance is gone.

Quite alright, as I am starting a new job tomorrow, as the charge on 10p-6a, Mon thru Fri. That'll work with Mom and the kids, and with school, so I am happy. Making the same amount and I WILL have insurance!

Just thought it interesting that I was "fired" through a loan officer about my truck! LOL!:lol2:

Sorry you lost your job, but it sounds like things worked out for the better anyway.

Regarding your loan officer knowing about the details of your discharge, it seems like there has been some violation of your rights to privacy, etc. They could say that you no longer worked there, but the detail of WHY you no longer worked there and their passing that on to a creditor is highly suspect. :angryfire

Good grief. How dare they tell a loan officer that!!! I think that is a major no no as far as your privacy goes. They can say you are no longer employed there. Heck, maybe you can get a lawyer and the facility can buy the new truck for you. I am only half-joking. Really that is pretty outrageous.

Good grief.

Good luck with your new job. I hope you can rest with that kind of schedule and your school schedule and mom stuff.

I hope I can too Tweety, but I think it'll be better than doing 2-12 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, then trying to work during the week when I can, and fit homework in.

This way, it's only an 8 hour shift, and I can stay up with Mom till Den gets home at noonish, then he can take over and I can rest. That gives me that time to do homework too.

Besides, I can do anything for another semester, right?

So, Suesquatch, what happened to you?

I posted this in the "Have you ever been fired?" thread.

The admins say this post contains TMI, and more than I should be making public. I'll defer to their wisdom and edit it out.

And thanks, all, for your support and kindness.

Sounds wrong to me.

But keep your chin up...you'll find something again soon!

Thanks, Julie. I'm pretty sad today.

Why did the pt die?

Why did the pt die?

I was told that the cause of death had not yet been determined, just that they knew her heart rate had gone really high and her sat really low all of a sudden.

Hmmm..... thats funny - that happens naturally when someone dies. GEEEZ 'cause of death not determined' my rear end! What are they thinking?
