Well, I'm not a Nurse, but have worked as a CNA and Unit Clerk, at the same place and I make 13.05 after 30 years-get vacation and sickdays, 2 PD, no med coverage unless I pay.

But I guess that the way it is!

Im not a Nurse Im a MA and I just got hired on my extern this week..

Starting Pay $16.00/hour with a 50 Cent raise after 3 months. I take my C-MA in June and I get another 50 cent raise if I pass that for a grand total of 17.00/hour to start.

10 hour days 4 days a week.. 8 doing clinical working with patients etc. and 2 doing billing, payroll and admin duties, running there server and working on there network and working on there webpage (I have a pretty big computer background..)

Some weekend work if I want OT doing billing and coding. Easy Sit on my ass computer stuff...

Health Benefit Package, and Tuition Reimbursment for Nursing school.. ($2,000 a year.. its you know a fat tax ride off for them)

Most nurses make "about 40-45" thousand a year.
