Hi . My patient have acute hepatitis. I was removing the spike from the used NS bag and the solution got in my mouth. I could taste the NS after in my mouth. Is there a chance for infection?

No. The saline was from the bag not from the pts bloodstream. Even if the NSS wasn't on a pump gravity doesn't allow for blood to travel upwards into the bag of IVF.
