I think i'm still on cloud nine! lol I met with my intended University on Saturday and they happily and completely answered all of my questions! I was so nervous, but once I got there, I felt at home! I even ended up having lunch with a few of the students!

We spent a lot of time talking about clinicals and I feel so much better now that I have a good idea of what to expect and when. lol I'm already trying to decide where I want to go for my rotations! :)

A big concern of mine was admissions. They told me that they take in about 200-250 students per year (2 entries) and they said that while the program is oversubscribed, the competition is not as stiff as I am imagining! (I asked about entrance GPA/average and when I told her my grades are high 80's, she said without a doubt i'd be fine!!). She actually told me that she was 99% sure that if I applied for January 2005 i'd get in!!! I told her i'll be applying for Fall 2005 and she just kept telling me not to stress about it, that my chances are really great for being admitted. How great is that??!!! :) :)

Sigh. I'm so freaking excited! I cant wait! lol I came home from the meeting and breezed through an entire section of math...alone! That says alot! :)

congrats! I hope you are able to retain that same level of enthusiasm throughout your degree program. Nursing is a challenge, but it can be fun as well. Good luck in your studies.
