I am finally finished. Graduated on Saturday at 2 o'clock. Im officially not a student anymore. Feels kinda weird. I start work May 28th, and I cant wait! Four years of college down, many years of work ahead!
Just wanted to thank everyone for your encouragment over the past 1.5 years. You all have helped me tremendously, either by encouraging me, or by giving me a dose of the negativeness I will face in the future. I feel that all of it, both good and bad will help me to be a better nurse. So thanks :) It has meant a lot to me.
On to Boards!
Hugs to all,

to all new grads in their positions---Just how much does it matter who your preceptor is??? TONS! I had to make up a day of work due to my pinning being on my weekend, and the people I followed were....um, mean. I can't wait to get back to work tomorrow and my beloved preceptor. She is so awesome...she makes me feel super proud of my progress, yet makes me want to do much better....how do I get these qualities???? I wanna be like my preceptor! * ok i am done being a nerd now*
I want to be the best d*mn L&D nurse...ever. so much to learn!!!!
----love you all----joy
Congratulations! I too graduated recently and now I am in a vacation mode. My partner and I skipped my graduation ceremony; instead, we packed everything in a truck and headed out of the midwest to sunny Florida.
It is a very exciting to finally finish school and start a whole new beginning.
