Do you know how to multitask?

How can I not procrastinate?

I have a problem in finishing my review for the IELTS exam. I have been meaning to take the test 2 years ago. But I couldn't seem to find the time to review. I work 8 hours a day, 5 times a week. I have responsibilities at home since I'm the eldest of all. I am a self-confessed addict to social media and to sending SMS.

HELP. I am I dire need of suggestions so that I can start setting my priorities.

I couldn't seem to find my motivation as well..

Fear is a great motivator. What is the outcome if you fail this?

Nothing motivates like fear of losing your job, getting kicked out of school, fear of no return on what you have invested time into.

Do you really have nothing to lose?

Pomodoros are a great way to make yourself do something you've been dreading, especially an open-ended task like studying. You can download apps or pull up a browser window with a pomodoro timer.

Close out all your social media windows, put your phone on airplane mode, and start the timer. It'll go for 25 minutes- during that time you do whatever it is you've been procrastinating, and ONLY that- study, clean, whatever. You can do anything for 25 minutes, right? When the time goes off, you get a five minute break to pee, stretch your legs, whatever- but you buckle right back down and do another pomodoro after that. After a certain number of cycles, you get a longer break.

They're a great way to stay focused- it's easy to tell yourself not to check facebook or AN or whatever until the timer goes off- whatever it is, it can wait 25 minutes.

Thanks! Iwill try this one!!

Just schedule the test.

That's the only thing that gets me to study. If I am just going to take a test at some random nebulous time in the future, I'm not going to care enough to study for it. If I've set the date, and it's two weeks from today, I'm going to care and I'm going to study.
