Denver Nurses pay

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hi there, I am currently an RN in Southern California in a pediatric ICU, my family and I are thinking of relocating to Denver Colorado. Im hoping to get a job at Denver Childrens Hospital but curious what the pay is there? Trying to see if it is close to my pay now. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Amber

Much less than Cali I can tell you that.

First, it's not Denver Children's. It's Children's Hospital Colorado, or CHCO.

Second, exactly what That Guy said. Not sure how many years of nursing experience you have, but 4 years ago, with 5+ years of experience, I was hired at a starting pay of around $28-29/hour.

ETA: sorry if that sounded curt; didn't intend that.

Nurses with 2 years experience are starting at $27 in CO Springs... I'm sure denver is close to that... Supply and demand

It hasn't gone up much either from that sadly.

Oh and the obligatory:

STAY OUT OF COLORADO YOU DAMN CALIFORNIAN! :D
