Anybody else going to be applying? I'm a long shot because I'm applying without all my courses completed, they will be done in the Spring.

Ok, just checking because I know they emphasized on where we uploaded the information. I wanted to make sure because she said there is a place where you can upload information but they cannot see it. Do you remember that?

That would just be the document center under the to do list.

yes, what they meant is that no one will be able to view your documents... everything will be kept confidential due to hipaa.. certified will just verify them and store them for us. we of course need to be cleared so we can enter the hospitals.. it's just for their piece of mind.. and i'm sure a lot easier for gcu to handle! :)

Where is the document center so I can make sure I'm not uploading there? They kept emphasizing at the first meeting that there were two different places you could upload information but when it comes time to see if everything is turned in sometimes they can't see it because it was uploaded to the wrong place.

i have no idea, sorry - i was at the 2nd meeting.

Check your email. There was an error. The new way prompts you to pay the $20 right away.

thanks ry! i did reset it and pay, but now i have to upload everything again :/

2 months to go... and we'll be in nursing school!!! :)

yay! "liked!" lol :)

Anybody get their titers yet? How much did it cost & was it with/without insurance? I'm hoping I can get them for a decent price through my hospital's employee wellness department but I heard that they could be quite pricey :/

hey! i already have mine all done, but here is a place my friend recommended...

http://www.anylabtestnow.com

(they have locations all over, including mesa & chandler - i think that is your area)..

you can see a list of prices under their "find a test" link on the main page. the hep b titer is $49 & the mmr is $129, for example.. they're decent prices for people who don't have insurance, or just choose to not go through insurance.

hope this helps. good luck!!! :)
