GCU Fall 2015 Transfer Hopefuls

Published

Hey everyone!!

I am applying to GCU for the Fall Fast Track program at the AT Still campus, but I heard it is super hard to get in as a transfer, especially at the AT Still campus. Wanted to reach out and see if there are any other GCU transfer hopefuls? Wondered if we could compare stats, tips, desired campuses, etc. :) I am just so nervous!

Maycation, I have talked to the ladies there and they told me the same thing. Less than 1% chance of getting a seat in Tucson. I guess many will move from Phoenix to Tucson or travel daily. I will call again and ask about this though. You make a good point.

They still haven't sent out an official email. None of my friends would have known had I not told them. I wonder how many transfer students have no idea?

Exactly!! ^^^ so messed up!!

Specializes in NICU.

Well, the only information I got out of my meeting for the new people is they are not shutting Tucson down, they are actually looking at expanding the campus. The people that where visiting out site today were evaluating for expanding the campus. I hope it gets better, and don't give up on your nursing dreams. Ill keep an ear out for the newbie news

Hi! just want to know if anyone got accepted to fall 15 program? I'm applying as a transfer and reading all these comments makes me so nervous, pls tell me if any of you got accepted as a transfer?

Well from what all the advisor told me, they are not accepting any transfer students because they have too many GCU applicants.

Really?! are you a transfer student too? my advisor told me just to wait for the email, I hope that's not really the case because it's like giving all transfer applicants lost hopes, and wasting all our time (and money) and effort to apply.

Ya, they wasted my time for the summer program and now the fall. I got an official letter stating they are not accepting any transfer students. I don't know why your advisor is giving you false hope. That's wrong. I'm sorry :/

Yes I am a transfer student

Oh gosh! I just don't know what to do right now. seems like I got no other option but to wish for a miracle! Gcu was the only school applied to because I was thinking they would take me.

Ya once we got screwed out of the summer program at GCU, I immediately contacted Estrella to find out what I needed to do for the CEP program. I officially applied for it on Wednesday and I will know if I am in on June 19th. I will start in August and be done fall 2017.

Is it too late for me to apply? If not, do you mind sharing some info how to apply and what I need. It will be a huge help! I just don't know what to do after hearing all these news from you. I can't believe that this is happening, all my advisor told me was to wait for the email!
