GCU Fall 2017

Is there anyone else applying for GCU Fall 2017? I thought we could start a thread for all of us as we count down the days for deadline and the dreaded wait.

Five more days everyone! I'm so excited but I'm completely terrified at the same time.

While I really hope it is only five more days... I'm thinking it will probably be longer if it follows the same trend from past cycles.

Although looking back at summer a lot did find out on the 15th. I don't understand how they end up so spread out for the emails going out. I think it was at least a week between them all for summer.

I want to just fast forward through these next four days. My anxiety is going to be through the roof until we find out!

Does anyone know what the schedules look like for classes and clinicals?

I know!!! I'm so nervous too, I really hope we do find out on Thursday and the emails don't get delayed!!!

My two roommates are in the summer program so I can ask them what their schedule looks like. I'm honestly happy that I have a job for the next week so time can fly until Thursday!

I hope they don't as well! It's so not fair to those of us waiting and our poor SSA's that get bothered by us constantly after the day passes. :-)

I feel like it's so difficult to find the actual information for what the program looks like once you're in it. In the wait all I want to do is find out more, which I'm sure you all understand.

I feel you. All I want to do is bombard people in the program with questions. I heard they have a metal detector which kind of scares me because some of my piercings haven't healed all the way yet.

But, obviously, if I have to take them out for the program, I will.

None of my piercings have ever set off metal detectors. I don't think you'll need to worry about that.

I was thinking about that because I've been through metal detectors at the airport but I'm not sure that GCU allows for body piercings in the program. Which I kind of get since the whole "harbor bacteria" thing.
