Is there anyone else applying for GCU Fall 2017? I thought we could start a thread for all of us as we count down the days for deadline and the dreaded wait.

We're so close!! I just want to know already! Haha

Me too! After all of this wait it will be so disappointing to have to wait even longer. Though that has happened every cycle that I've read on here.

Oh my goodness tomorrow is the big day! I just checked my nursing portal but still says the same as always. Can't wait to finally find out!

Hey Belu5! A friend of mine, who is also a nursing major, works for GCU and is able to see everything that goes on within all of the programs. She told me right before the end of the year that a lot of people started to drop form this application period (probably because of GPA or HESI scores)!

Tbh, I think a lot of people dropped out after the NCLEX passing rate scores were released and the RN program was censured by the Board of Nursing...

I mean, that could also be a reason but more people are applying for Spring 2018 rather than Fall 2017 now.
