GCU ABSN

Published

Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone else is interested in going to GCU's ABSN program? Or if anyone is currently in this program, how is it going? I'm planning on attending Jan 2022! Thanks!

Hi all.

Just spoke with a GCU advisor, I am applying for fall 2022. I need to take the HESI still. I also need to take patho, nutrition and christian worldview over Summer ? its a lot but I am determined to get in this program. My first choice is tuscon! I am stressed because I am a community college transfer from San Diego and taking 3 university classes for the first time and at the same time along with stress because of the HESI!

I highly recommend nursehub for the anatomy portion and some of the math, I scored a 98% for anatomy only using nursehub! Other than that, I recommend picking up the elsevier study guide to refresh on the math portion

hi everyone ! I plan on starting fall 2022 I have a bachelors & just need to take my HESI , christian worldview & pathophysiology. I’ve been trying to find a CC to take patho at to save me some $$ but I might end up just taking it at gcu.

I’m also from los angeles, california so I’ll be moving to arozona for the program & I plan to come back and practice in california.

I hope to find some roommates, it’s very nice to meet you all ?

Try Rio Salado! It’s a community college in Arizona that offers online courses. Pathophysiology at Rio Salado is HCR240, and it transfers to GCU

Hi guys,

I want to know if anyone is applying to the Nevada location ABSN for Fall 2022? On their website it says coming soon. I already started Christian view and Nevada constitution class online. Help please! I'm also from CA Bay Area and not planning on moving but I might fly back and forth for clinicals/sims/labs at least for the first semester.

hi ! @athnea yes I’m registered for the class that starts tom ! im from L.A & I was told the Sun City location is filled up already so las vegas is alot closer & flights are cheaper than they would be to Tucson for me.

Actually I took the HESI last week, got the tour of the Sun City satellite campus and the director told me no one has gotten through the second application review yet, so Sun City is still open for Fall '22!

I used nursehub and loved it! I passed with a cumulative of 93% overall!

what’s the second application review?

It's pretty much the application for the ABSN program. The first application is for GCU in general, the second app is specifically for the ABSN

Hello, is anyone starting this fall at the Tucson location?

Hi there! How many classes do you have left? I only have Christian worldview left and will be waiting for the secondary review acceptance soon

I'm currently taking Patho and Nutrition. I'll be taking Chemistry and Christian Worldview in the fall ! Not too excited for Chemistry ?

Do you live in the Tucson area?
