GCC Glendale Community College winter/spring 2018

Good morning,

My name is Richard and I applied to GCC for the winter/spring 2018 semester and wanted to start and topic for everyone to discuss.

I also didn't get in, I asked them to maintain my file if any seats were available. I didn't know there was a list too. I wonder how that works do we have to wait for that list to go first. Good luck! hope we get in somewhere

Wait so there is an alternative list ? Is anyone maintaining there file if spots become available ?

Literally in the same boat it sucks

i applied to 4 schools, got accepted to none. Don't feel down, we live in such a dense/competitive city. Our time will come.

Don't get discouraged! I am currently a first semester student at GCC that didn't get accepted initially. I was feeling pretty down about it. Just let them know you are still interested and you would like them to keep your file for the next semester. They actually picked quite a few people from the alternate list for my cohort! Keep your heads up!

hey everyone! new to this but I'm happy to say that by the grace of God I got chosen as an alternate, I see quite a few fellow alternates here, congratulations!! :D It was my first time applying to nursing programs and I was already coming to terms with not getting accepted to any! but this is such a pleasant surprise! wishing the best for prospective students!

It's okay, me neither. I was trying to optimistic thinking people even on the alternates will deny their seat but I guess we have to try again :(
