GateWay evenings are crazy. You'll start earlier than all the other cohorts, so be prepared for that. The first 3-4 weeks, we went M, T, W, Sat. from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, as you have to learn a ton of information before clinical starts. Now that we are 5 weeks in, Monday is Theory from 5:30-9, Tuesdays are Pharm from 5:30-9:30, and Saturdays are Preclinical Lab from 8:30 AM till 4/5 PM. Clinicals are either F, Sat, or Sun from 5:30(ish) AM until 4:30(ish) PM.
That sounds crazy!! I have Gateway day as my current first choice, and I believe I had evenings as my 3rd or 4th choice. I wish they made it a tiny bit easier to work with! haha.
Ya, GCC evening is tue lecture 5-9, wed lab 5-10, sat lab 730-1230. Clinicals take over my Sat lab class for my group and some students have their clinicals on Sunday.
I tip my hat off to rachaelofcourse and anyone else in GWCC evening program

It's not too bad after the first 4 weeks! But it really is no joke.
Hi!
I am currently in the accelerated program at Gateway. Right now, our schedule is that we have Theory from 8:30-4:30pm and depending on what group you are in, is when you will have clinicals for 10 hour shifts. My clinicals are currently tuesday from 6:45-5:00pm. We are the first group to have the new curriculum. We are currently doing our Med/Surg clinicals and will be doing our Psych theory and clinicals for the second half of our semester. I hope that helps a little with your question.
Hi!!!! Thank you so much for responding!!! I just sent you a pm asking more questions. Thank you!!!! :)

I know the schedules change frequently, but I'd just like some insight on what the schedules tend to be like. The schedule on the GatewayCC website is somewhat confusing as it lists so many days and times.
Gateway is my first choice and I am going to have to work full time during school, currently I do 10 hour days and may be able to switch my schedule so I can work 3 10's and one 8, 7 or 6 hour shift.
Thanks in advanced, Gateway is one of the only CC's I haven't found a ton of information on in terms of schedule!
