Gateway Community College schedule

Published

I know the schedules change frequently, but I'd just like some insight on what the schedules tend to be like. The schedule on the GatewayCC website is somewhat confusing as it lists so many days and times.

Gateway is my first choice and I am going to have to work full time during school, currently I do 10 hour days and may be able to switch my schedule so I can work 3 10's and one 8, 7 or 6 hour shift.

Thanks in advanced, Gateway is one of the only CC's I haven't found a ton of information on in terms of schedule!

hey did anyone apply for the upcoming program?

I am starting the accelerated program in Aug 2016. The schedule we have is Mon-Thurs. Monday and Tuesday Lab from 8:30am-4:30pm for the first 8 weeks then these two days will be replaced with one 10 hour clinical day. Wednesdays we have Theory from 12:30pm-4:30pm, Thursday we have Pharmacology from 12:30pm-4:30pm.

I too am starting in Fall! Looks like we will be in the same cohort! There is a Facebook page created for us to connect if you are interested in that sort of thing!!

If not I suppose we will see each other at orientation! I am nervous and excited at the same time!!

Hi I just got a letter to be accepted in gateway accelerated program. I was wondering if this is faster than the other colleges since it says accelerated.

Hi there-

Has anyone recently gotten into the Gateway CC evening nursing program? If so, how long after the application did you get your start date? I'll be taking my pre-reqs, but they should be done in April of 2026 to apply. I work full time Monday, Friday, so hoping to get clinical days for Friday. Anyone who's currently in the program can tell me how many Fridays clinicals they were assigned?
