Good evening,

Who all applied for the Lpn program starting this August 2018 at Gaston College?

Congrats on getting married. One of my best friends is 39 and she just got pregnant with her first, she just got married last year also.

Thank you and there is still hope for me. Congrats to your best friend, that is awesome.

Specializes in ICU.

According to that information packet for orientation; we need to register for our LPN class. I just tried to register and webadvisor is telling me "NUR-101-L40 - You are not allowed to register for the "Registration" time period."

anyone else experiencing this issue?? :,(

Same thing happened to me when I tried to register, I got the same thing. :( I read where it says to not take a urine drug test, I already took my drug test. What about y'all?

I already took my drug test too!!! -_- :/

maybe we don't register ourselves?

'We need to register you for Nursing 101 prior to orientation, so that you can have your student ID made when you come for orientation.'

I misread it. I thought it said we need you to register for Nursing 101 but it says WE NEED TO register... I guess they will still be registering our nursing classes for us?

I bet everybody has. :(

Oooh yeah I think you're right about them registering us.

Gosh all this cost for everything is making me nervous.

If we have already been approved after our drug test results through Castlebranch then I think we are good!!! I have a COMPLETED status for my drug test. If that's the case they should have communicated that before we signed up for CB.

Alright good. Yeah no one ever communicated that with us before we took it.

Again that's just my assumption, but I hope its nothing extra that we should have to do. I'm so ready for this to be over with.

Also, I thought that I was done until I realized I needed another PPD (TB skin test). I have never known a nursing program to need 2 TB tests. So back to the doctor I go...UGGHHH!!!

I'm ready for it to be over with too. I just finished my 2nd Tb test today.
