Gaston College Lpn 2018

Published

Good evening,

Who all applied for the Lpn program starting this August 2018 at Gaston College?

Specializes in ICU.

Hooray! I was finally able to register for the LPN class :D

Yay! I'm going to try now.

It still wouldn't let me register.

So do we have to fill out Form C of the physical portion? I feel like that's kind of redundant since we have to upload all of the immunizations anyway.... Also, I will be in the day cohort!

I think we do. I filled out mine just because Castlebranch is so strict. I'm not positive. Aww yay!

Well girls and guys one week till our meeting. I saw they registered everybody last week or so.

Yep, I saw that too! I'm so excited. I guess I'm the only one on this forum in the evening program so unfortunately I probably won't get to meet any of you.

I know. :( I'm in the day program. I think there may be a few in evening.

Hey y'all. Have any of you ordered the lab kit for the program yet? I went to order it and it's charging 12 in shipping. Just wondering if any of you have yet.

Hey! No not yet. I'm waiting until after orientation to see all that we will need. How much was the lab kit? I'm afraid to see how much our books will cost. Just the 11 credit hours alone my tuition will be approximately $850, which is great. However, the books will be more expensive than the class itself. I will definitely look other places for cheaper books before I purchase anything from the bookstore.

That's a good idea I will wait to see after the meeting too. It was 132.00 plus the 12.00 shipping so it was 154.00 total. Yeah that isn't bad on the tuition. We only got 3 semesters so that's better than 2 years. I'm so scared to see how much books will be too. I'll definately be looking online to find the cheapest too. They skyrocket the prices on books.

I was looking at the calendar for school and this college has a lot of breaks, a lot more than other colleges I've been to but I'm not complaining lol.

I haven't even looked at the calendar yet. I guess I should...Lol. I hope the nursing program follow those breaks too. Some programs still have classes even when the schools are on breaks, due to the rigorous schedule. I am so nervous, yet excited for the orientation.
