I have gaps in employment due to being a stay at home mom and working around my husband's schedule. I am not sure how to create a resume without a solid job history and I see that putting clinical experience is not a good idea.
HELP!
Thanks-

Why is clinical experience not a good idea? I was told by a nurse recruiter it was. I put that I was a stay at home mom on my resume.

@ bear14,
Did you include SAHM in your "Work Experience"? I am currently in that boat: to include SAHM or not... I get mixed reviews on that from fellow RN friends. Thank you in advance!!
I did. That way it explains why there is a gap. I was told by my friend who is a nurse manager along with someone in my career services department at my school who helped with my resume.
Excellent! Thank you for responding. Hopefully that will help me...? (One can only hope.)
I hope so too. Good luck. I am trying to find a job and it's tough around here.
