FYI... Open house... accepting new grads....

Wanted to tell anyone interested to relocating to South Florida. There is an open house for University Hospital in Tamarc, Fl on Monday 6/28 from 10-2

I phoned the nurse recruiter to inquire about new grads, she said they are welcomed. Then offered me an onspot interview!! Awesomeness!!

Was there any other information that the recriuter gave you as far as the positions that are being offered?

She didn't really give me any info. for what positions. When I called I just asked if the open house is also for New Grads. She said yes and I told her that I didn't want to waste anyones time nor mine since I'll be driving 9 hours for it (my family and I are relocating down there... we'll trying too, if i can get a job).

My interview is with Telemetry. We'll see, and I'll be crossing my fingers!

I was at the fair today and the nurse recruiter told me that she sent my application to the Director of a particular floor and she will call me for an interview between 1pm and 2pm but I haven't gotten that call as yet. I am wondering if I will be interviewed. I was interviewed by the nurse recruiter but she did not make me an offer :crying2::crying2:

Hopefully the director calls you. I was planning on coming but I was not sure if they would even consider me since I do not have my license yet. I called all day and no answer. Good Luck!!

Hope the director calls you as well. Did you get any contact information that you can follow up with? Even if you didn't, I would definitely follow up somehow to let them know you are interested and you want this opportunity. You already made the first initial contact, now go in for the kill.

I didnt go today. I was trying to call first to see if they would even consider me before I drove down there but no one answered. I will try again tomorrow. Were there alot of people there?

I saw just a few people there but some of them went upstairs. I don't know why. Let me hope the Director calls. I will be calling tomorrow.
