Published

Wanted to tell anyone interested to relocating to South Florida. There is an open house for University Hospital in Tamarc, Fl on Monday 6/28 from 10-2

Go take a look at there website: University Hospital in Tamarac Florida!!

I phoned the nurse recruiter to inquire about new grads, she said they are welcomed. Then offered me an onspot interview!! Awesomeness!!

So.... hope this helps you!!

hmmmm...no words from the Director of nursing. Some people have all the luck. I will continue to send out applications to see employment. I have a RN license and I know that the economy will be better soon.

Anyone get a call back from them yet??

how did it go?

I had my appt. at 1:30, showed up on time 5 min early. Spoke with the nurse recrutier, she informed me that the director of tele that was to interview me has already gone. But the director of ICU was there so she interviewed me. I was informed that all the directors will get together then make a decision from there. The nurse recruiter could not inform me how long it would take nor how many new grads they were accepting.

The other place I went to was great and verbally stated they would love to have me as part of their team. They told me to call them when I pass my boards. So I am hopeful.

The question I have is why do nurse recruiters consistently tell you that they can't tell you how much they are offering for positions whether it's new grad or not? Is this a game? Seriously, they do know they have a chart they go by. I'm not stupid I just think it's dishonest to say they don't know.

I have to make at least 23.00 or I can't take anything. I have to be able to support my family. Is that really to much to ask for... $23.00 as a new grad for the West palm Beach/coral springs/tamarac, FL area????

I got a call back!! Yay!! more info to come next week. so exciting! Now... I just have to pass NCLEX-RN!

Congrats Lisa! I am so happy for you. My friend who is a new grad went there on Monday but she did not get a call back. I wanted to go too but I was not sure if they would be willing to take on new grads. I am so sad for her because she is really having a hard time finding a job...Again congrats!:cheers::cheers:

Did she email Samantha, the nurse recruiter thanking her or send a card??

Did she have any experience as an LPN??

I know it's a tough market out there. I wish her luck!

Lisa, no she is not an LPN. She is just a new grad RN with a license just like me. We have been looking for jobs all over and no luck. Congrats again!
