I have a very good friend that graduated from Excelsior college a year and a half ago, and she resides in Ga. She just got her Cali Rn license by endorsement. So you have to be an Rn in another state for a year, (working RN). Now she got a contract with an agency making a ridiculous amount of money an hour, like $750 per 12 hour shift, of course she works ICU.

How recently was this? I'd like to attend Excelsior but not if I can't get licensed in CA. I'm considering moving there but I would have at minimum a year experience as a RN prior to moving. I had psych and OB in my clinical rotations in LPN school. Thank you!
The original post is from 3 years ago. Clinical rotations in LPN school are irrelevant to RN training/CABRN

Sooo... let's say... I get all this done... get licensed in TX (please!!) and then for some ungodly reason have to come back here... I could do the whole thing over again? I mean... if that's the case... I could do the LVN-RN 30 unit and just get that all squared away if it was absolutely necessary right? As opposed to just working as an LVN or not finding work in a federal joint... That's not HORRIBLE... as a WORST CASE senario... but hopefully I wont have to do that... LOL... Thank you!! glad to know that they don't completely shut you out.
