Some ER's have patients who walk in to triage fill out a triage slip with name and chief complaint. they are always interesting due to misspellings and funny things that people write. care to share some funny ones with us?
ill go first, one girl wrote as her symptoms...."east infection"
A little off subject but...
We always laugh about "some dude," most of the patients who come in by EMS or from triage state that, "I was just walking down the street and 'some dude' just started beating me up.
That "some dude" must be a bad bad man because he is ALLLLL over our city and strikes poor inocent victims all the time. HAHA
Anytime EMS calls with an altercation we always joke that "some dude" must be at it again.
c/o ran out of cudamin and azzburn
And we wonder why people come to the ER for what we consider non-emergencies.
Some of these are funny, others are sad, as they reflect poverty, lack of education, illiteracy, the life of the hard core inner city drug user, or just uneducated folk who might actually be the salt of the earth but are poor.

This isn't a CC, but goes along with spelling errors. For mispronunciation, we hear this a lot from a specific set our of pt pop: ambulance is pronounced am-BA-lance. I never get tired of how that sounds.
