So I went to orientation for nursing school on Friday. They told us we will need to purchase a book bundle for our fundamentals class. The bundle includes Fundamentals of nursing by kozier and erb 8th edition,, the text book, my nursing lab access, a cd rom, and the clinical guide. The whole thing costs 260.00 in the book store.
1st question has anyone used this book? If so did you purchase the study guide and find it helpful?
2nd I was thinking of renting this book from Chegg for $39.00 and the paying separate for the web access and clinical guide. But I'm not sure if I'll need to refer back to the book after the semester is over. What do you guys think would you rent it if you have the opportunity or buy it?

You will constantly be referring back to your Fundamentals book for skills. I used My Nursing lab more than the study guide. The CD for the book has some great resourses, so make sure that even if you get a used book the CD is there. Check into the price of buying everything separate with a used book.
