is it possible to work 36+ hours a week and do 9 credit hours or 3 classes? They would be a mixture of science, psychology, sociology and nursing courses.

Didn't you just ask this?
Of course it's "possible." It all depends upon your IQ, your work ethic, work habits, study skills and innate ability to be a disciplined person. Only you know the answer.

People work full-time jobs while completing 9, 12 or 15 credit hours worth of coursework all the time. Not everyone can accomplish this, but it is possible.

Worked full time & went to school full time when I earned my first degree, will be doing it again with 2 small kids on top of that. If you don't have to work full time (or at all) as a student that's awesome. Unfortunately for some of us we don't have that luxury. It's 100% doable...especially if you're only responsible for yourself (i.e. no mortgage, kids, other responsibilities). If you have responsibilities, still 100% doable, just requires the dedication to buckle down more...and maybe just a little extra coffee.
