How did everyone feel today? Was anyone overwhelmed?

Hey Sassy, yesterday they went over everything that is required to be completed before class starts. There was also mention that if you worked at Novant before and arent in good standing then you would have to dispute the issue before you can continue with their program. Im thinking because were going to do clincals at their sites. Background checks and drug tests have to be approved as well. So that is the update.. class starts Jan 13th and there is alot to get done in the next month before we can move forward so dont give up hope. Keep checking your email and have your phone on stand by!! One of my friends at GTCC was put on the waiting list last spring and didn't get a call until November sometimes. Good luck with everything girl!!

Hi Shahines30! It was ALOT of information... but also alot to get done in the next month. But I am soooo excited and so greatful to be in the program. Which schedule did you end up getting?

No problem! There was a good amount of people there.. I dont know the exact amount but you could easily say a good 50-70 ppl.

The majority of things due are by Nov 13th.

It was a lot of information! But I'm so excited too! We're going to do so well! I got the pink schedule. My classes will be on Monday, Wednesday, and clinical on Friday. What schedule did you get?

We are, were going to get through this thing. And I have the pink schedule too!! So we will have the same classes ? Thats really cool.

Hey, I bought the study book/manual directly from ATI because they make the TEAS. They have a package deal for like $90 for the book and 2 online practice tests that you can take twice and review. Totally recommend that!! My scores were:

reading 97.9%
math 96.9%

science 83%
english and language 87.5%

Youre welcome! I took a good 4-6 weeks for studying. I had a whole schedule planned out and did a section in the book every night at work, and did the quiz for that section one night and reviewed what I missed. I work nights, and I only studied at work (4-5 shifts per week). So, if you study at home and every day, you can definitely be done quicker!
