  1. They had to postpone some interviews due to the storm- and interviews continued until Friday. They said decision will be made this week.
  2. If you get your license transferred to NC you can apply to the LPN to RN program. You just have to have an unrestricted license as an LPN registered in NC. If that’s not an option, you can not challenge the CNA exam. FT requires that every student take a NC approved training program to get their license. You have plenty of time to figure out the RN program because the deadline isn’t until February. The deadline for the LPN to RN program is next month.
  3. @Lettyness90 Have you sent your transcript to the admission office, yet? I would do that first if that’s something you haven’t done because that will determine how the school transfers your course in and how many credit hours they will give you for that course. Then you’ll be able to calculate your points. Hope this helps.
  4. You’re very welcome. Nursing school is exciting! You will all learn a lot of skills and a lot of information! But let me say this, it will be overwhelming. I’m halfway through 3rd semester and it’s still overwhelming. Start out organized and stay organized. Figure out how you learn best, get a planner, utilize it, and do not procrastinate. Also, lean on each other. You are all there to become amazing nurses. Get through it TOGETHER. And always remember that you CAN do this and that you all WILL be nurses. Nothing worth having comes easy but this will be worth it! You all will be great nurses. Continue to be positive. Positivity is what’s going to help push you all through this.
  5. Hi futurewhitecoatnp! I am from the Spring2020 forum. In previous semesters they sent out acceptance emails first, then alternate, then they sent emails out to those who did not get in. Hope that answered your question. Stay positive!!
  6. Hi Sassy33! Yes, embroider your lab jacket AND scrub top.
  7. Yay, Congratulations! You’re going to do great! LOL you’ll be nervous at first, but you’ll have so much fun learning! And you’ll have the most amazing instructors and classmates that will help you every step of the way-and we’ll help you too!
  8. There were plenty when I went this morning.
  9. Go get your books! The bookstore is now accepting financial aid. I went this morning. I can imagine that they’re probably pretty busy right now.
  10. I know! I checked techlink. MyForsythtech is back online, but running slow... So I guess maybe now we can try to get our books.
  11. I haven’t heard anything, and haven’t been able to get my books either. I was able to get on the myForsythtech website a little bit ago. It’s slow, but it let me on.
  12. A little less than 6 weeks. Is everyone getting ready? I can’t believe it’s already December...
  13. Did you find out anything today?
  14. I did the same. I had my doctor sign the 3rd page, and that's all I uploaded. Figured that would be much easier than uploading an extra 6 documents lol I think she told us the documents need to be completed by the deadline. I could be wrong. There was so much information lol there really is no telling! But I'm praying with you! I'm sure it'll all go well!
  15. Nicole336, It was a lot of information! But I'm so excited too! We're going to do so well! I got the pink schedule. My classes will be on Monday, Wednesday, and clinical on Friday. What schedule did you get?
