FTCC Fall 2016

Hey, everyone! I am new to this site, and am looking for others in the same boat as me! I am just getting ready to submit my applications for Fall 2016. So far I am applying to two schools, one being FTCC. Is anyone else applying to Fayetteville Tech for Fall 2016? I'm trying to see about where I might stand...what is the max number of points we can have towards admission (including the 15 bonus points we can get at the information session)...is it 95?

I used to hear the same thing, but to me it seems so far from second rate! I feel like it has been such hard work! My cna instructor said the program has made a ton of progress in the past few years and that its one of the best programs in the area. The process for other programs like Sandhills were really easy compared to ftcc so it surprises me that people don't consider this program as highly as others. I really hope we are all classmates soon! I have also heard they accept 100 each year at the info session, this gives us really good chances I think!

I've only heard May for acceptance. I think it says online on FTCCs website that they notify in May

Yeah I have heard the program is not very good but if I become a nurse then I will be happy! If we get in we should celebrate!

The nclex pass rate is in the mid-high 90s- which sounds like a good program to me! Fay state's nursing program was suspended just a couple years ago for not adequately preparing students...while fay tech's program is 3 times as large.

I got my info session email! My appointment is on April 26th!

I think so, I'm going to probably dress as if it were an interview- slacks, dressy/conservative blouse

I am so excited that we are moving forward! It's going to be a long month waiting for our dates but I am sure they will go great!
