FTCC ADN Fall 2018

Hi.. I'm not sure if I'm using this site correctly, lol. But I'm totally confused on how entry into the program works, like how to calculate points, what are the max points ect. I have already applied to the program for start of Fall 2018 if I get accepted. I'm also in the progress of applying to RCC in lumberton, possibly.

Hey girl, I am going to be applying for the 2018 program as well. I'm so nervous because all I have heard is how hard it is to get into.

I haven't heard much about the program, but I really hope we get in! I'm just so confused by how to calculate the points and stuff. Lol.

Me too! Like with the few things on the competitive points sheet. Have you taken the teas exam yet?

I have! I got a 74 on it

That is awesome!! Did you feel that it was hard? I've been using my study guide so I hope that helps. What do they consider "proficient" or do you know the range for proficient? I tried to find it online but everything I read said each school is different.

Honestly, the actual test was easier than the study guides I had. Lol. I'm not sure at what percentage they consider it to be proficient, but under my grade it says, "academic preparedness level: Proficient"

Okay, I will keep that in mind. I have been trying to study so hopefully that helps!

Good luck! When do you take the TEAS?

I just did it today at one of the PSI proctoring locations so I won't get my scores for about a week :(

Whaaat!? What's a PSI location? I took mine at FTCC and got them back immediately.

It's just a proctor location, all the spots were filled up at FTCC for the days I was able to take it. So PSI locations are just proctors set up to give you the test then they submit it to your school then you see your results. I just got my results back and I passed! My score shows proficient as well.

Well that's good! Now I'm just nervous about actually being accepted into the program. Lol. Have you already taken all of your pre reqs?
