  1. The uniform package was $400, I'm just saying I don't have anymore money to get anything else out of pocket. I already have my uniforms lol but yeah girl I know. It's annoying
  2. I think the thing from castle branch says we go to the cashiers office to get the insurance. But if we do have to wait until we get books, I won't get mine until we can use financial aid. Lol. I had to pay out of pocket for the uniform package, I don't have another $600 to use on books unfortunately lol
  3. I don't think so, as long as it's not any bright colors that stand out. But I've heard ATI is much better than HESI
  4. I have a friend that just finished her first semester in the program, and she said she would skim over the books, but what really helped her with exams and stuff is the powerpoints.
  5. Yes! haha. I was The next to last person to introduce themselves, Christina. Lol. And I know right, I'm excited to start. Are you getting the ebooks or the hard cover ones?
  6. Hey! I think I remember you at orientation. Can't wait to start class with everyone!
  7. I was just posting to see if anybody who got into Fayetteville tech for fall would happen to see this. I got in, still waiting for orientation emails or whatever is next to come out.
  8. Hi, I was wondering if anybody on this site could give me current info on Fayetteville techs LPN program? Like how many points do people who get a seat usually have, how many students they accept etc. Anything would be helpful :)
  9. I started a facebook messenger group for us if anybody wants to add me and ill add you to it! Christina San Miguel is my name.
  10. That would be great. I think I'm already friends with two people that have applied for Spring.
  11. I gotcha! My hubs came home from deployment like a week after BIO 169 started for me. Lol. But okay let me know! You can do it!
  12. I just have 63 points, I don't have anything extra for the competitive points unfortunately. But I'm still really hoping to get in. I hope we all get a seat. Are you retaking BIO 169? I got a 89 in that class, I don't mind helping if you need it!
  13. Same. How many points does everyone have?
  14. They are, ENG 111, ENG 114/112, PSY 150, PSY 241, BIO 168, BIO 169. Those are what were listed and counted for points on the HARF I got from applying for this Fall. I didn't get in because I hadn't completed my A&P classes yet, so I was missing about 30 points. Lol. But both of those are done now so I applied for Spring, I am also wanting to get in and start this journey! Hopefully we all do.
  15. It's kinda hard to explain. Lol. So for the classes they use for points, you multiply then add. For a C it's 2 points, B is 3 points and A is 4 points. So you would mutiply the points by the credit hours. Example: if you got an A in A&P 1, you have 4 points. And since it's a 4 credit hour class you do 4x4=16. And you would do the same for the rest of the health classes and then add your answers together, and that should be how many points you have. I hope that made sense. Lol.
