FTCC ADN Fall 2018

Published

Hi.. I'm not sure if I'm using this site correctly, lol. But I'm totally confused on how entry into the program works, like how to calculate points, what are the max points ect. I have already applied to the program for start of Fall 2018 if I get accepted. I'm also in the progress of applying to RCC in lumberton, possibly.

HARFs should be out.

What follows the HARF? Do most accepted as a Cat 1 applicant get final approval into the program?

Yes! HARF's are out I got Cat 1!!

From my understanding category 1 applicants get first spots, so they will go down the list of those and then if there's still spots left they will start going through category 2 applicants.

And yay! Me too! Relieved, but still nervous. Lol. Wonder how long we wait now. Lol

When I turned in a competitive points sheet, I was told to expect another 4-6 weeks. She said they had to send out new HARFS, give people time to appeal those, and then admissions decisions would be sent out....

I hope I'm not the only one here getting impatient waiting to hear something. Lol. I just wish they would give a date for when to look out for the emails instead of us checking our email a million times a day. lol

I just did the acceptance for a seat for 2018 class.

I haven't gotten anything

Probably going down the list

Yeah I don't think I got in. Lol. It's 8pm and still nothing. Congrats on your acceptance though.

Really? Tomorrow perhaps?

I highly doubt they would send out acceptance letters over two days. Lol. I'm thinking everyone who got conditionally accepted got their emails today, and others who either got alternate or not accepted will get one tomorrow. I'm just assuming that though I honestly am not 100% sure how they're doing things. I kind of seen this coming though, I didn't have any competitive points, but both of my GPAs were very high and I had all pre reqs done except my A&P classes, which I'm almost done with the first one and I'm taking the 2nd one this summer, so I had a little hope. lol. It's all good though, I might try again I haven't decided fully yet.
