Just starting this thread up! This is for anyone planning on applying to FSW in the fall for Spring 2019 at FSW.
I'm currently finishing up my pre-reqs this summer 2018 term and will be taking the TEAS in the fall as well as applying to the program at the Lee Campus.
Reply back with,
What campus you are planning on applying to?
What classes you are trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?
What program schedule format you will be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?
Did you take the TEAS VI exam or how did you do?
Excited to hear from you guys and to help each other out!
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anybody is having the same problem as me. I'm a new student to fsw. I applied in August and I put I was interested in spring term.. since I choose spring term, none of my information like transferred credits, grades, advisement help is on my student portal. I spoke to the IT department and they said everything should be fixed after October 22 when spring registration is open... I'm just wondering if this is going to cause a problem with my nursing application which is due October 15. I'm trying to get ahold of the nursing department, and the advising department but they're really slow at contacting me back and I'm getting worried!
Depending where you are applying I get back with that location nursing advisor. If you are applying to Charlotte.. Wendy can help you.
I'm sooo upset! I can only do the online program.. I wonder if there wasn't enough applications for the online programs
I am so upset also, it really put me down today. I didn't do so well on the Teas, so I'm retaking it next week but I'm not too confident & i am currently working on my last 2 presequites so they won't count for points. I won't be competitive enough for just the Traditional program. I called Chris after reading email, he said he was unaware of the whole reasoning behind it because he, himself had just got the email this morning also. He did say they opened up more slots for the traditional program but I don't think by much. He said it would be 60 seats for Lee, 30 for Collier & 27 for PC I believe.

Still apply hun! I didn't get in for this fall. I feel a little more confident that I should this spring. Keeping fingers cross. So it was even surprise for Chris himself. At least they are opening more slots for traditional though. By the way, they do have the stats for fall 2018 applicants
Hi there!
I applied to all campuses, traditional and ANEW, with PC and Lee being my 1st and 2nd choices.
My Tally Points are right in the middle of the previous cohorts at an 82.
I don't feel particularly confident now that the ANEW program has been removed and there are fewer spots available.
I have all 9 core classes completed with a 3.33 GPA, I received an 88 on my TEAS the first time around.
I had considered retaking it for a 91 or above, but didn't and feel like kicking myself now.
Good luck everyone!
