Just starting this thread up! This is for anyone planning on applying to FSW in the fall for Spring 2019 at FSW.
I'm currently finishing up my pre-reqs this summer 2018 term and will be taking the TEAS in the fall as well as applying to the program at the Lee Campus.
Reply back with,
What campus you are planning on applying to?
What classes you are trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?
What program schedule format you will be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?
Did you take the TEAS VI exam or how did you do?
Excited to hear from you guys and to help each other out!
For Charlotte campus no. Bay front Punta Gorda and port Charlotte will be your first semesters clinical sites depending on what clinical group you get into. Each semester is different but I know that isn't an option for any semester at Charlotte county if it takes me a while to reply I'm on the way to clinicals. for ANEW Charlotte it's on Saturday from 6:30a-6p
Hi all, I am planning on applying next fall. I applied at scf and did not get in due to the spike in applications. I have to take stats first. SCF doesn't require stats as a pre-req. I'm hoping to do well in stats. A little nervous though. I though the Charlotte campus doesn't do the ANEW program anymore?
Wow this is really crappy news. I always thought that the ANEW program was great for people who need it and learn that way. Definitely feel a lot less confident now that they removed it. It is kinda terrible for it to just come out of no where that it is no longer an option so close to the deadline.
Also can anyone tell me when we are supposed to do background checks and all that? I saw it is listed as "Phase 2"
After you get and email saying you got in and you have to accept it, then they give you directions on the background check. After everyone's comes thru, you will receive an acceptance packet that has all of your information like books and uniforms.
Hi there!I applied to all campuses, traditional and ANEW, with PC and Lee being my 1st and 2nd choices.
My Tally Points are right in the middle of the previous cohorts at an 82.
I don't feel particularly confident now that the ANEW program has been removed and there are fewer spots available.
I have all 9 core classes completed with a 3.33 GPA, I received an 88 on my TEAS the first time around.
I had considered retaking it for a 91 or above, but didn't and feel like kicking myself now.
Good luck everyone!
82 points should be pretty competitive for the Charlotte campus traditional program based on this fall's and last spring's applicant profiles. I wouldn't stress too much. An 88 on the TEAS is pretty solid. Most of the people I have had class with haven't scored that high.
I also applied to the spring with Charlotte and Lee traditional as my 1 and 2. Not sure if I will attend if I get accepted. Trying to figure some things out.
Good luck, though!

Hi Kasey,
Do you know if Sarasota Memorial is a clinical site or do you travel to different hospitals?
