FSW Spring 2018

Published

It's a bit early, I know. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those looking down the road planning to apply to FSW this fall for the spring 2018 program start..

I'm planning on applying to the Charlotte campus for the Evening/Weekend (ANEW) schedule format.

What campus are you planning on applying to?

What classes are you trying to finish up before applying in Sept/Oct?

What program schedule format will you be choosing (Daytime or evening/weekend)?

Did you take the TEAS VI exam and how did you do?

I look forward to the discussion over the next few months!!

I actually didn't know there was a phase 3.

CONGRATS TO ALL. Hey @weiny what did I tell you. You could do it. Also how did you post this forum I thought I posted a forum for FALL 2018 but I don't see it. Although I maybe reconsidering and taking summer 2018. Not sure. I'm so proud of each of you like I got accepted, we all gone celebrate together. So for those of you doing the ANEW I think that's the route I'm going to take. OMG. I'm doing my happy dance. Next up the TEAS for me. The waiting game is the hardest of it all.

Are you going to reapply in summer or fall? What were your stats if you don't mind me asking

I all. I'm applying for Fall 2018, do you think I'll get in Lee Traditional?

GPA 3.75

TEAS 84.7

Hey dear I'm starting a Fall 2018 forum if you would like to join i'll keep others in the loop as well

I didn't get accepted. Congrats to everyone who did!

Haha Thanks! I appreciate the positive vibes!

I posted the topic by going to the Florida nursing section under the "U.S." section and then clicking "Add your topic now". Its a big green Icon.

All the best to you when you apply for the summer/fall ANEW program. I know what you mean, waiting is tough but the time will be here before you know it!

I'm not sure if I'm reapplying for fall 2018 since there isn't a summer program for 2018 (as of now). If there's a traditional summer program, I will reapply. I reached out to the nursing department, and was told I'm an alternate for the traditional program. If a seat opens they'll let me know. They also said if I chose the ANEW program I would've been accepted. My stats weren't competitive (in my opinion), and I should've retaken the TEAS like my gut told me. 3.3 overall GPA and 74 on TEAS. I already have an AA, but I decided to take Chemistry and look into other programs for Summer 2018.

Thanks Weiny, I just posted it. Make sure you keep me posted as to the ANEW. I just looked at the dealines and seen I will not be able for the summer so I'm going to do fall so hey I'm a class behind you. YAYY. Im so ready. Were you and your wife excited? && Annarose I'm almost positive a seat will open up so you will be apart of the Spring 2018 program. Go ahead and get excited Ms. Lady

I'm curious what everyone is using to purchase everything we need to get in the next few weeks.

For example: The book bundle which is over $1,000

and uniform, stethoscope, BP cuff, all those things?

I am not looking forward to using a credit card but may have to until FAFSA/grants kick in next semester

Is this all in addition to tuition?

I will be paying with some savings but I'm hoping for some type of assistance at some point since I'm no longer working.

Where did you get the information about the book costs? Are we able to see a list of all of the specific textbooks that we are required to get?

Is this all in addition to tuition?

Yes. Books, uniforms, and medical tools/equipment are all additional costs, separate from the cost of tuition.
