Anybody applying for the nursing program at FSW for the spring in 2017? I plan to take my TEAS sometime August or September, does anyone know what the passing score is? And have you finished all your prerequisites and general ed? The only prereqs I have left to do is A&P2, nutrition, and micro. But still have all the general eds left to do. But you don't have to have all the general eds finished before applying right? Sorry, I'm new at this.

Maybe we're going to be super lucky and it's just us!! Lol ;)

Was there really? Boo!! I'm still keeping hope with the spring being less competitive than Fall. Also, I was looking through the Fall thread again and someone said they've heard of people getting in with 54 points- just another reason to not give up hope!

How long did it take you to get your scores back ?? I'm considering postponing my test.. It's a gamble though. Either have the chance to re-test, or have the extra study time. I can't decide!

I also wonder if there's any weight in what date you submit the application.

Okay, so I have a question that anyone can answer... I've taken the Teas V twice. Once in February, the second time in March. I hadn't taken the Teas version 6 until this month. I spoke to the dean about the fact that since they're different tests, if it is possible for me to take the exam twice for the teas 6 since it's been a while since I've taken the previous tests. I know that we can only take these tests twice per calender year. The dean told me that she'd get back to me, but I am yet to hear word of this. I am really hoping that since the test version had changed that I'd have that last chance to really give these tests my all. In everyone's honest opinion, do you think it's worth me taking this test ONE more time to try to raise my score? All three scores were embarssingly low and I really want to work hard and get into the program and am feeling all out of options right now. I've finished all of my courses and my gpa is a 3.4. So my main question is, if you were me, would you take the chance?

Hi Jen! I would say that if you have the chace, to go ahead and take it. Otherwise you'll be stuck wondering in your head "what if I had gotten a greater score" at least that would be me. I hope you get good news and good luck! Let us know what you find out :)

Hey everyone! I'm taking the teas this Thursday and am super anxious. I have all nursing prerequisites finished besides nutrition and my GPA is a 3.45 Hopefully I make spring 😬😬 I was just told by the dean of nursing that I could apply for spring semester with what I have and had to cram a bit for the teas since I was originally planning on taking it in janurary.

Yep that's what I meant :) like which campus you want to go to. I'm applying for Charlotte. We will be taking the teas together though! What are you using to study??
