Hello Everybody. My name is Keesh. I'm starting this thread a little early to get a head start on things. I was looking into starting nursing school in the Spring of 2018, but things come up. Now I'm going to start in the FALL. I'm currently looking into the FSW ANEW program which works better with my work schedule. I was told by a student the ANEW program is just like being in the FULL TIME program except it's online. It consist of hard work, time consuming and dedication. I plan to apply for LEE campus as well.

Hey guys, current FSW nursing student. I completed my first semester of nursing school and it was tough at times. My advice would be to start practicing how to critically think if that makes sense... only if you're not a great test taker like me. There are a few books out there that can help you practice. My downfall was focusing too much on Pharmacology and not lecture, which is 5 credits. I did better than I expected in Pharm.. I was told they're changing pharm so I don't want to give out false information. Time management is very important your first semester. Do NOT cram! You'll only stress yourself out.
Good luck to you all!
Buzzzzzzzz among pre req students I know. Hoping on a hunch, tomorrow is the day. Jesus take the keyboard because tomorrow is the commencement of my compulsive email checking.XO fellow hopefuls :)
My compulsive checking started Tuesday and I don't think I can wait any longer!! Good luck to everyone!
Good luck to all of those who applied for this Fall! I just got accepted to FSW for the Summer Mini B term at Charlotte. I need to complete Statistics (I'll also be taking Micro) and take the TEAS Exam and then I will be able to apply to the ADN Program for Spring '19 at the Charlotte campus. I already possess a B.S. in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University, so I have already completed most of the prerequisite courses. My GPA for the courses is ok. Assuming I get an 'A' in both Statistics and Micro, I will be sitting at 3.46 for 8 courses (I plan on completing Human Growth and Development in the Fall). I am hoping to get at least an 85 on the TEAS. Does anyone have any recommendations on which sources are the best for studying for the TEAS? Thank you and again, good luck to all of those who applied!
My opinion is, YouTube videos are best, but still do not cover all information. The study guides/books were not detailed enough and I think are good for reviewing what you already know, at best. Lab equipment wasn't in videos, I think. Geometry formulas, metric conversions, chemical equation balancing should be committed to memory. Good luck :) dig in!
Yesterday I pre-sharpened 36 pencils for my son's school supplies (in august.) Shaved my dog, washed my boat, organized my post-its. Alphabetized Xbox games. Cleaned grout. Too much to describe for fear of Baker Act. I need to know waiting doea not work for me make it stop send help oh my god.

I was going to call as soon as I got out of work...I emailed Chris Renda earlier in the week about TEAS and if they round it up or not and I still haven't gotten an answer so I think calling would be the best bet to get an answer
