FSW FALL 2018

Hello Everybody. My name is Keesh. I'm starting this thread a little early to get a head start on things. I was looking into starting nursing school in the Spring of 2018, but things come up. Now I'm going to start in the FALL. I'm currently looking into the FSW ANEW program which works better with my work schedule. I was told by a student the ANEW program is just like being in the FULL TIME program except it's online. It consist of hard work, time consuming and dedication. I plan to apply for LEE campus as well.

Something I found helpful were the TEAS study guide apps it doesn't cover everything but helps with refreshing some information...I even used the apps on a trip to Disney to study while in line

Yesterday I pre-sharpened 36 pencils for my son's school supplies (in august.) Shaved my dog, washed my boat, organized my post-its. Alphabetized Xbox games. Cleaned grout. Too much to describe for fear of Baker Act. I need to know waiting doea not work for me make it stop send help oh my god.

Seems like emails always get sent out on the 8th from what I've seen in past forums...but I can't handle it anymore can we just make the decisions ourselves???

Are the Mometrix YouTube videos any good. I just started watching the "Science" review video. I'm not really concerned about the Math section of the TEaS. With Calculus 1, 2 and 3 and Differential Equations under my belt, I feel extremely confident there. But it's been a little while since I've done Chemsitry/Biology and Reading Comprehension.

Awesome. Thanks for the info! I'll look into it. I'm on the go a lot, so the app may prove to be helpful.

I talk to Wendy yesterday in person and she wasn't sure if it will be sent out that day. She said they are trying to go by people preferences.

I wonder if that means they are making decisions per campus? For example everyone that put Lee as their first choice will be notified first and se one round will be people who put Charlotte first? Idk just a thought

Like if John preference is Collier traditional over Collier ANEW. They would try to go by the person preferences. Some people may had just put all the 6 different classes. So the people going through the applications are trying to get them together.

I was just thinking of how fortunate we are. To have FSW. Between just south of sarasota/Bradenton and the everglades and from inland east coast all the way across to the gulf of Mexico in between... the only public college to offer ASN is our awesome little school! The quality of our awesome little nursing program is the very best in all that geography! Very fortunate. Feein' it today yall :)
