Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.
Who is joining me next fall in nursing?
I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.
I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

Yes!! You only need to put the date....glad you found it...keeping costs down
Went for my influenza on tuesday with my physical, TDAP (WEDNESDAY) at LMHS (health park)($49-cheepest i could find)
PPD (WEDNESDAY) for $15
Total for TDAP and PPD WAS $64
they only took cash and i had to have the exact amount cuz they didnt have any change
Tomorrow i go for my PPD reading and BAM! All my paperwork is done (including reading and signing my nurse handbook) gotta upload my shots to cerified background, but im also taking a copy into the school (OCD) ill do my CPR on Saturday and i should be done with all requirments

The cape one is no Good...nursing staff said only gulfcoast location carries what we need now...
As far as your Rubella being immune, that means they gave you a titer..that paper work will work! But you alsi need the rubeola immune work (titer) aswell. You will need to upload thst document to certified background and fill in the date on the attestation form as well as the health report. I would call the staff about the VZV because you have had chicken pox...if you could get the documentation from that doctor/hospital, it might help. But the paperwork says the titer is for those who have not had chicken pox...id check to be safe..
Also, id check about making a FB page with FSW, the nursing handbook says no social media...just to be safe!
Also, if yall are interested...the staff at the school and hospital said they do not require the HEP A or HEP B....You can sign a waiver. (Last pages in handbook) I already Had HEP B (3 series) but not HEP A (2 series) the HEP A is $58 at the Health department.(2X)..lee memorial does not offer it....they said they dont even require it for employeement.
I got email to register for part time, too. Lol, but little do they know I already did. Haha
And that stinks about cape uniforms. Oh well, I don't need them this semester so I have time to get them next semester.
Thanks Kat about information. I doubt I have any documentation and if I do God knows which doctor has it. I moved like a million times when I was little. and unfortunately I can't ask my mom. So I need titer.

I spoke to the nursing advisor at Charlotte that said just because there is the documented infection doesn't mean that we would be immune and they require the titer. I'm just not taking any chances of not getting in come August, so I'm doing them all.
