Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.
Who is joining me next fall in nursing?
I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.
I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.
So it appears that we will be in the classroom for the first several weeks and then we will be doing clinical at a Nursing Home for a few weeks after that, before we get to do clinical at the hospital.

Her planner is very organized and she also shows you how to make your own stickers for it. I made a bunch of clinical stickers, test/quiz stickers... Each class is color coded so you don't have to write as much info.

I sent a conversation to Barbara Ward, MSN-Ed, RN,CCRN regarding this Attestation form folks have been talking about. (i didn't receive) I am unsure if Edna is still helping the Nursing Dept. So I have just used the conversation module in the NUC 1000 as instructed.
I asked if they will even look at Certified Profile for the medical records since no update.
Collier is really behind I believe. Hope to hear something tomorrow before i head to campus. The last time i went there there wasn't anyone there. But, I want to ask about all the things that we are missing, like Orientation and syllabus for each class.
