Hi everyone, well I'm starting this convo so we all can get an idea of who, what, when, and where with FSCJ. Good topics would include testing materials, the average ranking of points for the upcoming term, and any other useful ideas that will help us all get into to this crazy hard nursing program! :) So, lets see if we can help each other out....and it's kinda fun to talk about nursing as well :)
I have a copy of all those immunizations when I received them but from what I am understanding we need actual labs copy's of titers to prove that we are immune right? I just want to make sure I need both. Does anyone know?
Yes, we need the titers to prove the immunity. At least that's how I understood it. That way we know if we need a booster :)
Went to the Take Care Clinic in Walgreens at Old St. Augustine Rd & 295 today. Their prices are as follows for those without insurance:
$31.99 flu vaccine
$63.99 Tdap
$28.00 for TB testing
Physicals are $60
I don't know if they would be willing to order titers or how much they would be at the lab but I hope this helps a little for those looking at pricing for shots.

For all your immunizations, physical, and titers call Century Testing. I had mine done there 2 years ago for scrub tech and they were the cheapest. I think $235 for everything and I had to get my Hep B shots. I am still waiting to find out if I'm in the program or not. Good luck to everyone.

Wow, I never thought of Walgreens or CVS? That's very cheap. Thanks Lucy! :-) I only need a physical and MMR titer...thank goodness. My work took care of the rest. I guess we take the physical form with proof of immunization records with? So the doc can write it off as being one? Idk.
