FSCJ Summer 2013 Nursing Students

Published

Hi everyone, well I'm starting this convo so we all can get an idea of who, what, when, and where with FSCJ. Good topics would include testing materials, the average ranking of points for the upcoming term, and any other useful ideas that will help us all get into to this crazy hard nursing program! :) So, lets see if we can help each other out....and it's kinda fun to talk about nursing as well :)

Hey everyone Ill be starting the lpn program in about a week not at FSCJ but Southeastern college do anyone want to meet up or give me tips on how to past the teas test plz someone let me know

ShaminaPeterson - see this blog for information on studying for the TEAS V. https://allnurses.com/florida-state-nursing/unf-accelerated-bsn-792349-page6.html

Also, I am curious, as I know nothing about Southeastern College, are you saying that you've been accepted and are starting classes next week and even so you have to take the TEAS?

One week is not really enough time to fully prepare for that test. Hopefully you've had your science classes like A&P. Good Luck! :)

They've got a study guide at the college bookstore. I know because I almost went there...when it was Keiser career college. It's a little pricey but it's supposed to be very helpful for the test. :)

You can also get one online at ATI.com

Hi everyone: Got what may seem as a dumb question but here goes.

Does the Net have a clock on the computer to let you know how much time you have left

in each section like there is on the Tease?

Thanks

If u don't ask....u won't know :) yes, top right corner of EACh test lets you know how many minutes you've got left

Pepsi, when will you take it? Good luck :)

Thanks for the information. I will be taking the test Friday the 25th and am very nervous about this. Heard so many different things about this test. I did well on the Hesi and Tease, but am really uptight about this one.

If you did well on those you'll be fine :) don't worry. Id imagine you'd do awesome then! Just work quickly

The quick part is really more scary than the knowing the material. :)

Pepsi - really, try not to stress. You are going to do fine. I finished all but two sections in time to go back and review. Reading - you probably won't finish even if you are a super fast reader - so just strive to pick the right answers out of the text and keep moving. You are going to do great. This test is def not as hard as the TEAS so give yourself permission to relax. :)

Thanks so much juliesnow, you make me feel a little better. I really hope you get into the program. You would be a great person to collaborate with.
