I wanted to create a new thread for Summer 2017 hopefuls (it seems far away, but it will be here before we know it).
I am very excited to start this journey, but I have to finish a few more prereqs. I am wanting to buy a HESI A2 study book, but I am not sure which one to go with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I saw on one thread where a lady swore by Elsevier, but I want to make sure that is a good one before I buy it. Thanks in advance.

So I just took the HESI again this morning bc they didn't give me all 9 parts the first time. No physics is on it. Really study math. Fractions are heavy. Be careful of the time as their is no timer on the test. And can someone send me the new rubric too. [email protected]
Would someone be able to send me a copy of how to add up points? [email protected]
I lost my old e-mail with the info included and I've been searching everywhere on the website and can't find anything!
Hi, I will be taking the HESI very soon (last minute decision to apply to FSCJ's nursing program), and I just want to know if you're allowed to have scratch paper and a pencil? 8 saw we get a calculator but I do so much better if I can write certain things out. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hey guys,
I've been following this thread for a while and wanted to chime in now that my pre reqs and hesi are completed. I was a combat experienced medic in the Army with an EMT license, got out two years ago and finish up my AA this semester at Santa Fe. I have straight Bs in my pre reqs and scored an 86 on the HESI which I honestly did not prepare for at all. (I didn't use a calculator so my 70% in the math section pulled down the overall score) Someone said they were able to use one, is this true?
I wanted to ask that someone forward me the nursing packet if possible. My email is [email protected]
I look forward to meeting you all and wish everyone luck with their applications! Jason

Has anyone here taken the HESI? Is physics required still?
I take it soon and I am very nervous and confused.
