FSCJ Summer 2017 Hopefuls

Published

I wanted to create a new thread for Summer 2017 hopefuls (it seems far away, but it will be here before we know it).

I am very excited to start this journey, but I have to finish a few more prereqs. I am wanting to buy a HESI A2 study book, but I am not sure which one to go with. Does anyone have any suggestions? I saw on one thread where a lady swore by Elsevier, but I want to make sure that is a good one before I buy it. Thanks in advance.

can someone email the packet to me, [email protected], thanks!

I have two Hesi books! I took it already. If anyone would like them.

Applied to the program with 219 points today. Really bummed we have to wait so long to find out!!

Hi Tayhewiwtt, are those points based on the old or new rubric? Thanks in advance.

I am looking everywhere and can not find the packet online. Can anyone help! :)

Would someone possibly email me the packet? [email protected]

Hi Tayjus83, what is the new rubric? I tried to follow your link and I couldn't find anything. Based on what I have in an email from about 5 months ago I will be applying with 201 points. If you have something new please email to me ... [email protected] thanks!

I too am confused about this "new rubic". When I spoke to the admin accepting the applications, she stated the points were accounted for the same way as the older application. The only difference is now that they only request you to fill out the 2 page application and include the appropriate documents pertaining to the list on it. This can be found on FSCJs nursing website. From my understanding I am sitting with 236 points. My fingers are crossed that there aren't any hiccups with the confusion between the two proceses.

Has anyone else received an email "your application is being processed, expect decisions no later than 3/8/16."?

Yes I will gladly send the new Rubric that the admin sent to me. The link is only for the application and the new deadline, the rubric was not meant to be attached, sorry.

Thank you! What is your email? I'll send you a message.

Hey guys,

I am also applying for 2017 Summer term which when I asked they are only going to accept 96 seats :(

I just finished all the pre-reqs and I am preparing for the HESI. Anyone have good HESI tips or what book I should buy? I would like to take the HESI in Jan before the Feb deadline. Also, when I went through my grades and the score sheet, I estimated my points to come out to about 193 (that is getting 80 points on the HESI). Anyone know who to call for general questions on the application?

I am hoping this all works out and good luck to all.
