FSCJ Summer 2014 Hopefuls

Hello, everyone!

Since I have not seen one started on this site, I thought I would go ahead and get the ball rolling. This thread is for anyone hoping to get into FSCJ's Nursing Program for the term starting in the Summer of 2014.

Take the seat!!! That's just my opinion... save your money (unless money and time aren't a problem). JU is wayyyyy too expensive. UNF has an all online RN-BSN bridge (10 mo. I think) if you work in acute care.

Yea expensive it is but I was able to get some scholarship monies and can still use work source. For me I like the extra coursework and training that the BSN provides and CCU may be my area of interest and that is JU's speciality in fact you get an entire semester dedicated to it and there NCLEX success rate on the first try is well into the 90%. It is a longer process to graduation May 2016 vs August 2015 but I think it's worth it once I graduate won't have to mange handling a new challenging job while trying to be successful in online course work. Money is always a factor bit I'm my husband and I are willing to make the investment.

Well MaleCNA84 I wish I could gift you my seat because I am taking my spot at JU. I think with 198 points there has to be an error with the calculations or address. I hope that you are able to get it corrected in time. Good luck to everyone!! I know you all will be fabulous nurses!!!

Thanks Retajet. They must have lost my packet. I know I made the cut, it is the most annoying thing on earth to continue waiting for nothing. I wish I would get some kind of letter.

PS I hand delivered my packet and everything was Fine.

yes, my friend applied with 185 and she hasn't received anything yet. not even a denial letter. I'm guessing she must be on the stand by list or something. You def have more points, so I don't understand why you wouldn't have received yours yet! Hang in there. I know you're going crazy!
