Hello, everyone!
Since I have not seen one started on this site, I thought I would go ahead and get the ball rolling. This thread is for anyone hoping to get into FSCJ's Nursing Program for the term starting in the Summer of 2014.
has anyone taken statistics, any professors that y'all recommend?
Hi Morrkn6,
I am currently taken statistics with Professor Abraham, and she is awesome. Easy A course. She does not require a textbook. She gives us everything we need to know for her quizzes. She breaks it down to where you can really understand it. She gives handouts that have example problems and the hw problems are just like the example problems. I definitely recommend that you take her.
I received my packet and now I'm frantically scheduling pee tests and finger printings and trying to track down 25 year old immunization records.
The only ones you really have to worry a out is the tdap and tetorifice I think. All others will show in the titers. (From what i remember reading the other day, don't have in front of me now) Thank goodness my mom recently came across mine and gave them to me. From 1985 :-) I did get a tetorifice shot because I have no idea and have no record of the last time that was given. That one hurt! And is still sore. Lol
Not yet I guess if I didn't know about this site, I wouldn't know that some get packets before others and this wait wouldn't be as tedious.[/quote']I just can't see the cut off being over 198. They must still be working on them. I would call before spring break though just to inquire. Like I said..they had a part of my address wrong and I know I filled out my paperwork correctly. So could be anything. Fingers crossed for you!

Congratulations to everyone who got in!!
I am still waiting on my letter. I do not think that I will get in with my low score of 169.96, BUT i know I will me very well prepared to get in for the fall. I just finished up hum2020 with an A which will replace my first humanities which I made a C in. So right now, I am standing at a 175.96. When I finish statistics, I will be at 178.96 (if I make an A). I plan to retake the NAT late May to be in time for the Fall deadline. When I retake it, I will only need 12 extra points to add to my total score to bring it up to a 190. :)
