Hello, everyone!
Since no one has started a Spring 2015 for FSCJ Nursing, I thought I would start it. I plan on applying the beginning of September I will take the exam in august. I'm very nervous of course. I have a preq gpa of 2.87 but I have an overall gpa of 3.23. Has anyone heard that FSCJ has changed their entrance exam to the HESI A2? Anyone applying to FSCJ hoping to get accepted for the spring?
OK so I have 178.4 points total without Micro. But my question is, if I have a chemistry that's 4 credits instead of 3, will they count it as 4 or just as 3 because that will give me 2 extra points.
What did everyone else get? I'm nervous because I don't even have a scale of the points they are accepting because of the new stuff added and taken away.
I image they would be counting chem as a 3 even if you took a 4, which I did, because they're only requiring a 3 and that wouldn't be fair to everyone.
I scheduled my HESI for 8/11 but I'm going to reschedule for more towards September so I have more time to study. I went to HESIA2.org and did the practice problems. The math questions were cake. I will have no problem acing that part but the chem I need to study a bit.
We don't have to do the chemistry section on the HESI for FSCJ. The only sections they are taking are Anatomy and Physiology, Biology (I didn't do so well on which is why I'm taking it again), Math, and Reading Comprehension. You have to do the learning style section to but there is no score. It's really not a difficult test but it is very broad and general. For those of you who have taken it what was the most difficult section for you.

I think that's pretty good cause it's their first time using the HESI so I don't think the scores will be too high overall because the new test. But I'm so nervous.
